“After experiencing a heart attack myself, I quickly realised that the journey doesn’t end when you leave the hospital. In many ways, that’s when the real questions begin. While there is plenty of medical information available, I found there was very little support for the everyday worries, fears, and challenges that people face after such a life-changing event. It can feel confusing, lonely, and at times overwhelming.
I created this website because I didn’t want others to feel like they have to face that journey alone. My aim is to bring together clear advice, practical tips, and — most importantly — a community of people who truly understand what it’s like to go through a heart attack and recovery. Here you’ll find helpful information, shared experiences, and a place where people can talk openly and support one another.
If this website helps even one person feel more informed, more confident, or simply less alone after a heart attack, then it will have achieved exactly what I hoped it would.”
